"1742 Santa Chiara Bra" nasce da "Associazione Culturale Mousikon" poi "Zizzola Turismo & Cultura" per far conoscere in modo diverso, ai cittadini e ai turisti, la chiesa voluta dalle sorelle Clarisse, commissionata al Vittone, benedetta la prima pietra il 27 maggio 1742, officiata la prima messa nell'agosto del 1748, confiscata con Decreto Francese nel 1802, restituita alle Clarisse nel 1816, confiscata nuovamente nel 1883 e di proprietà dei Padri Cappuccini dal 1930.

L'idea del progetto è maturata nel luglio del 2016 quando si sono svolti dei rilevamenti con l'ausilio di scanner 3D per la stesura di un libro sul ruolo fondamentale che i principi matematici e geometrici dell'architettura barocca hanno sulle forme di architettura contemporanea, finanziato dall'Università della Pennsylvania, e sponsorizzato dal FARO Laser Scanning Corporation.
